Background
I work across the whole product: Flutter and React Native apps on the phone, React and Next.js on the web, and Node.js, NestJS or FastAPI services backed by PostgreSQL.
I start from the problem, not the stack. I want to know who the software is for and what it has to do before choosing how to build it, and I keep the result simple enough for the next developer to change.
